Remembering Kobe

2008 Beijing Olympics ~ Team USA - Basketball. When I interviewed Kobe Bryant in China, he told me how proud he was to be representing the United States. Even though today marks a somber anniversary, we should celebrate and remember the joy that Kobe and young Gigi gave us. 🙏🏾 #truechampion #kobebryant

U.S. - Canadian Border

I want to show you something really cool about the area in Canada 🇨🇦 where we are shooting our next film. So, we are in Langley, British Columbia right outside Vancouver. And with one step, we are back in the United States! 🇺🇸 We are right on the U.S./Canadian border - and when we step over from BC, we are in Washington State! Now, let me get back over because I don’t have my passport!

Making Movies

Hey Guys! I just got to beautiful Vancouver, BC to the set of my new movie. Many of you know this is the 5th movie I’m executive producing (won’t He do it?). Today, we are filming in this beautiful house outside of Vancouver in Langley. Can’t wait to share more details with you! 🎥

Dr. King and Dr. Farris

On this day that we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I’m sharing this special picture with you. This is Dr. Christine Farris - she was one of my English teachers when I was a student at Spelman College in Atlanta. Dr. Farris was Dr. King’s sister. I remember the first day in her class. All of us young students were so excited that we were meeting someone who ACTUALLY knew Dr. King! Throughout the semester, Dr. Farris would sometimes talk about her younger brother and how we could honor him by striving for excellence in our lives. I was honored to be taught by Dr. Farris and overjoyed when I got to see her again during a reunion weekend at #SpelmanCollege. 💙
