Protecting my Peace

When the world feels heavy and the news is too much, I turn it off for a while.

I walk among God’s creations, I breathe deeply and I clear my mind.

At 63, this is how I stay grounded - moving my body, protecting my peace, and receiving little reminders of grace… one step at a time. 🌿🐾🙏🏽

Honoring Dr. King through his Sister

Sharing with you a personal connection to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. whose legacy we honor today. His sister, Dr. Christine Farris was my English teacher professor when I was a student at Spelman College.
