This was the first time ever that I have been a part of a cast on a drama series. We held our “live tweet” party at The London Hotel West Hollywood. We all watched the premiere episode of ‘Games People Play’ and had our “tweetfest” during all the juicy parts - which were A LOT!
Today’s the day! ‘Games People Play’ premieres tonight on BET at 10pm! You’re going to love this show! It’s fun, sexy, hot...and I get to be part of this talented cast! Can’t wait for you to see! #KrisKensington
“Certitude: freedom from doubt, especially in matters of faith and opinion”. Throughout my life, there have been those who have told me that my dreams were too big - that I couldn’t accomplish something because I was just a “little, black girl from Detroit.” And, there were certainly times I wondered myself. But, God blessed me with parents and grandparents who taught me to break free of opinions of others and instilled in me a strong sense of faith that I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.What does BOSS mean to you? Join the movement! Make your own post on how you are a BOSS. Happy to be a part of this campaign by the American Cancer Society! Thank you to my friend Simone Smith who beat cancer like a BOSS!
We had such a great night at the fundraiser for the S.H.A.U.N. Foundation for Girls. Here are some of my friends who came to the Jimmy Choo store in Beverly Hills to shop. A portion of the proceeds that night went to our mission to empower girls and young women.
I only have the Jimmy Choo store in Beverly Hills to myself for just a few more minutes.
Expecting the ladies to come any moment now and shop the new Spring/Summer 2019 Collection of fabulous shoes - a portion of the proceeds going to the S.H.A.U.N. Foundation for Girls.
#Thankful. I am so excited about this new project! I recently got my first recurring role in a drama series! The show is called ‘Games People Play’ and it premieres on BET in April. It is a sexy, exciting drama that is filled with all kinds of twists and turns. I play Kris Kensington, head of a media corporation. I can’t wait for you to see the show! You can read more about it below. ~Shaun
Celebrating the opening of my friend, Shaq’s new restaurant called, SHAQUILLE’S. It’s located in downtown LA at LA LIVE. On the menu, southern comfort food. Try the fried green tomatoes!
Oscar Sunday! One of my favorite pictures of me and my dad. This was one of the years that I hosted the official Academy Awards Pre-Show. Dad was my date for the show and the Governor’s Ball. We had such a great time. I miss him so much. A cherished memory.
This woman is amazing! Had such a great time interviewing Oscar nominated costume designer Ruth Carter today. Her stories working on Black Panther, Malcolm X, Amistad and SchoolDaze had us on the edge of our seats! #BlackHistory
Social media has been abuzz with the #10YearChallenge! You are asked to post a picture of yourself from 10 years ago next to a current picture. This daring task is to find out how much you have changed - both physically and emotionally - in the last decade. So, I’m up for the challenge!
Physically, you can be the judge. Emotionally, I am less bothered by negativity: I see failure as an opportunity for growth and I am a much better philanthropist. I’m more engaged with those I love and I am also a producer of content!
How about you? How have you changed in the last 10 years?
