What a beautiful afternoon celebrating 10 years of the S.H.A.U.N. Foundation for Girls! This anniversary brunch - hosted at the beautiful home of Board Secretary Lisa Gilford - was filled with so much love, laughter, hugs, and gratitude. Looking around the room, I saw so many dear friends who have been on this journey with me from the very beginning - people who believed in this vision, cheered me on, showed up time and again, and helped make our mission possible. Your friendship, generosity and unwavering support have meant more than you’ll ever know. Celebrating this milestone together reminded me that while the Foundation has impacted the lives of countless girls and young women, none of it would have happened without an incredible community standing beside me. My heart is full and I’m so grateful we could celebrate this special moment together. Here’s to the memories we’ve made and to the lives we’ll continue to change in the years ahead. 💜
RIP Clive Davis 🎶 Legend. Icon. A man whose impact on the music industry has been immeasurable and has influenced multiple generations. 🙏🏾

It’s our ANNIVERSARY! 🎉 TEN YEARS AND WE ARE CELEBRATING! 🥳 In 2016, I created the S.H.A.U.N. Foundation for Girls with a mission of making sure that underserved girls and young women across the country have the resources and support they need to thrive. Ten years later, the work is bigger, bolder and more necessary than ever. To every supporter, partner, donor and believer who has been on this journey with us - THANK YOU. You helped make this possible. 🙏🏽 Here’s to the next ten years. The girls are counting on us! 💜
Last week, while I was working in New York, I got a chance to go see the Broadway play, August Wilson’s “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” starring my friends Taraji P Henson (who took us onstage for pics!) and Cedric the Entertainer! AMAZING! Angela Basset also came out to support. My girl Melanie and I meet some of the other cast members- the incredible Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Joshua Boone, Abigail Onwunali,Nimene Sierra Wureh, and Tripp Taylor. If you’re in NY, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone is a must see! 🎭
So proud of my nephew, David! I spent the weekend in Atlanta with my family cheering David on as he graduated from Paideia High School and heading to Mississippi Valley State College! We love you, David! Keep soaring! 👨🏾🎓
To the BEST Mommy in the world! I LOVE you, MA! 💝💗💞💖💕💓

Ted Turner was an icon in my industry. I met him in 2014 when I was asked by the United Nations Foundation to interview him for the Film Independent Humanitarian Award, for which he was being honored. Many people know Turner started CNN (in 1980) but, you may not know his connection to philanthropy. Turner made a $1 Billion dollar gift to the #UnitedNations that was used to establish the UN Foundation because he believed the UN was crucial for addressing the world’s problems. This interview was at the home of Philanthropist Ron Burkle. You can see from this picture that Ted was in a good mood - happy to receive his award. Thank you to photographer Frazer Harrison for your picture. #RIP #TedTurner 🙏🏾
I had an incredible time at the Hollywood premiere of MICHAEL! 🕺🏾
I had an amazing time at Leading Women Defined! Thank you Debra Lee for curating such a beautiful, safe space for dynamic women to gather, commune and truly see one another. There is something powerful about being in a room filled with brilliance, purpose and authenticity - where collaboration is celebrated over competition, and every story, every voice, every journey is honored. Grateful for the sisterhood, the conversations and the reminder that when women come together with intention, there is no limit to what we can build, uplift, and transform.
